FadeTalk lets you share a link instead of your phone number. Give it to someone you meet at an event or on a trip, and they chat with you in their browser, with no install and no sign-up. The conversation ends when you decide, or stays with no timer if that suits you. For the event itself, a host opens a place room that attendees enter with a code at the venue, and the room closes when its time is up. Your email and phone number are never shown to the other person.
Built for short-lived contact
Everyone already has a messenger. FadeTalk is for contact that does not need your phone number: people you have just met, and groups that exist for one event.

Two kinds of link
A single-use link is for one person you have just met. It expires after 24 hours, 3 days or 7 days and, by default, locks when someone joins. Burning it ends its guests' chats and retires its address. A personal link is the one address for your profile or bio: anyone not connected to you who opens it sends a request, and the chat opens when you accept. Pausing it stops new requests.
The other person needs only a browser
Whoever opens the link picks a display name and chats in the browser. Guests are always labeled as guests and can report or leave at any time; someone already signed in to FadeTalk joins with their account. Guests, and accounts that join by a single-use link, see your nickname and a generated avatar.
Place rooms for events
For events, conferences and campuses, a host can open a place room: a group entered with a six-digit code or QR refreshed every 30 seconds. Guest-enabled rooms allow browser entry and reading without signup. Guests must switch to an account and verify a phone before sending in Korean or unknown-region host rooms. Confirmed non-Korean host regions permit guest sending without verification, based on the server host account region. Hosts get join approval, announcements only, slow mode, link blocking, pinned messages and co-hosts. Rooms are never listed or searchable and close when time is up.
Conversations with an end, and honest limits
Each chat can run for 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days or a custom time, or keep going with no timer; the time left is always visible. You can recall a message for both sides, or send one that leaves both screens seconds after it is opened. "Scheduled to disappear" has exceptions: reported content, backups and legal holds remain, and what the other person has already seen or captured cannot be taken back. FadeTalk does not promise that nothing remains; it offers a lighter record burden.
When a reply will not come, FadeTalk drafts one in your tone. AI drafts need both of you to turn AI on; otherwise you get built-in suggestions. You edit it and you send it; nothing goes out on its own. FadeTalk runs in the browser, and as an app on iOS and Android.
