Introducing FadeTalk

We send hundreds of messages a day, and almost none of them are ever read twice. Yet every conversation piles up somewhere, and at some point the archive becomes weight on every word. That subtle heaviness when you open an old chat room — that's the feeling we started from.

FadeTalk gives one-to-one chats an expiry. An hour, a day, a week — when the time you chose runs out, the chat fades from your list. And for the people you want to keep, there's always ∞. The point isn't restriction; it's choice: not curating what to keep, but simply not keeping what never needed keeping.

For the moments when words don't come, there are AI reply drafts. FadeTalk suggests replies that fit the conversation — but choosing, editing, and sending is always yours. We didn't want to build a messenger where AI speaks for you.

And one principle we set on day one: no phone numbers, no contact mining. All anyone ever sees is your nickname and a 5-character code.

FadeTalk is available right now in your browser, and on iOS and Android. Start light. When conversations feel lighter, you talk more.
